Manuel Kißling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otis Waldner in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 6th minute Frederik Trede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Kißling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Kißling was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Piepersloh players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FSV Frankfurt were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frederik Trede stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otis Waldner in the 52nd minute of play forced Piepersloh's goalkeeper Manuel Kißling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hagen Bruns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Tristan Gehrcke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Piepersloh's zone, Frederik Trede stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Kißling came out of the goal and Frederik Trede tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frederik Trede in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Kißling saved Piepersloh from getting behind. After 91 played minutes Piepersloh got a freekick which was hit by Max Grupe. After having played for 92 minutes, Otis Waldner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FSV Frankfurt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otis Waldner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, Dominik Martin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FSV Frankfurt eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
