The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Daasdorf Bei Buttelstedt's goal looked a bit too open when Clas Obels came free, but Harm Gingold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th match minute, Daasdorf Bei Buttelstedt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ole Per Rott to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the game, Nico Halfmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Daasdorf Bei Buttelstedt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rehungen the free kick. A collision led to Daasdorf Bei Buttelstedt getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Nico Halfmann hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Bastian Gruler notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Rehungen's Tommaso Prinzing. Tommaso Prinzing was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Bastian Gruler came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Daasdorf Bei Buttelstedt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bastian Gruler couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, Rehungen's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Kamin came free, but Tommaso Prinzing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leon Kamin in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommaso Prinzing saved Rehungen from getting behind. Hannes Strunk hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Aljoscha Bolesta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rehungen's Tommaso Prinzing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Kamin in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leon Kamin made a kick off. Bastian Gruler scored 2-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommaso Prinzing, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rehungen's Tommaso Prinzing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bastian Gruler in the 57th minute of play. If Leon Kamin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harm Gingold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Veigel in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Clas Obels cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Harm Gingold was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Harm Gingold didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 69th minute, which inside left pole to 3-3. Bastian Gruler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Tommaso Prinzing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bastian Gruler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommaso Prinzing having to interfere. In the 82ndth minute of the game Bastian Gruler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rehungen's Tommaso Prinzing was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Rehungen's Aljoscha Bolesta got a free kick in the 84th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Leon Kamin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Daasdorf Bei Buttelstedt's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Kamin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommaso Prinzing breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leon Kamin in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommaso Prinzing saved Rehungen from getting behind.
