Benno Zeitler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Einar Pedersen made a huge save. Ambrosius Zellner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Einar Pedersen having to interfere. 10x's Harold Löwenberg got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rinthe FC's Ernst Bockholt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dietrich Hötzl in the 13th minute of play. Ambrosius Zellner struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Einar Pedersen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rinthe FC. Ernst Bockholt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dietrich Hötzl went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ambrosius Zellner to make the kick off. Einar Pedersen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benno Zeitler in the 52nd minute of the match. Benno Zeitler might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Einar Pedersen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benno Zeitler ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benno Zeitler in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Einar Pedersen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benno Zeitler struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Einar Pedersen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rinthe FC. Einar Pedersen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bert Raucher in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Bert Raucher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Pedersen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Benno Zeitler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benno Zeitler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Einar Pedersen having to make a save. In the 72nd play minute Dietrich Hötzl came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ernst Bockholt. 0-2. 75 minutes into the match, 10x's goal looked a bit too open when Benno Zeitler came free, but Einar Pedersen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Einar Pedersen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benno Zeitler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benno Zeitler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Einar Pedersen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Ambrosius Zellner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Einar Pedersen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Benno Zeitler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Einar Pedersen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bert Raucher's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Einar Pedersen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Benno Zeitler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Benno Zeitler notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of 10x's Einar Pedersen. Einar Pedersen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Rinthe FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
