Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dominik Baader took the kick off in the first half of the match. Curtis Sonnenschein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephan Jung, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 6th match minute, Gospenroda FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Hadeler to maneuver through the defense. Valerian Wentzel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominik Baader in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Nico Keuken left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gospenroda FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 11 played minutes Steinmauern FC got a freekick which was hit by Murat Schütt. Nico Keuken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute Nico Keuken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Curtis Sonnenschein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 played minutes Steinmauern FC got a freekick which was hit by Fred Hermes. Valerian Wentzel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mike Ranke went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Curtis Sonnenschein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Issey Kleiminger in the 32nd minute of play. Curtis Sonnenschein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Issey Kleiminger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Dominik Baader shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valerian Wentzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mike Ranke got free with Valerian Wentzel in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Issey Kleiminger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Curtis Sonnenschein was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. In the 44th minute, Nico Keuken ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Curtis Sonnenschein was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nico Keuken to make the kick off. Gospenroda FSV's Valerian Wentzel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominik Baader in the 53rd minute of play. Nico Keuken's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Curtis Sonnenschein read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Nico Keuken dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Curtis Sonnenschein, 2-4. Nico Keuken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Curtis Sonnenschein having to interfere. The Steinmauern FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gospenroda FSV's performance. The match ended with a win for Gospenroda FSV.
