Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Reinhold Flach started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Marko Kleinmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hannes Beiche. Ekenhorst FSV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marko Kleinmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Reinhold Flach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Tobias Hofheinz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the game, one of FC Borliza:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Ekenhorst FSV. Egmont Breidert stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tobias Hofheinz. 1-1. 13 minutes into the game, Rachid Hörnle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ekenhorst FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Borliza the free kick. 12 minutes into the game, one of Ekenhorst FSV:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tobias Hofheinz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinhold Flach, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 19 played minutes Ekenhorst FSV got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Trienekens. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marko Kleinmann got free with Hannes Beiche in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, FC Borliza's Marko Kleinmann ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hannes Beiche. Hannes Beiche yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. After a rather tough play, FC Borliza's Özcan Urban got a free kick in the 25th minute. Reinhold Flach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute Reinhold Flach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Hofheinz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marko Kleinmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reinhold Flach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Hofheinz having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Hansjörg Schöpf kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Marko Kleinmann charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marko Kleinmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes FC Borliza got a freekick which was hit by Marko Kleinmann. In the 59th minute Reinhold Flach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Hofheinz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marko Kleinmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ekenhorst FSV's Hannes Beiche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Kleinmann in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marko Kleinmann in the 75th minute of play forced Ekenhorst FSV's goalkeeper Hannes Beiche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hannes Beiche didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marko Kleinmann went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. If Marko Kleinmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Hofheinz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinhold Flach in the 86th minute of play. Georg Krögers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Hofheinz having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Reinhold Flach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ekenhorst FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Reinhold Flach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Hofheinz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 97 minutes, Georg Krögers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ekenhorst FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Georg Krögers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
