With a little luck, lok leipzig's Hagen Beil got control of the ball when Walther Wendland tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulf Brockmann got free with Hagen Beil in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hagen Beil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulf Brockmann in the 23rd minute. The wind increased when Nico Bernstein made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Spechtshof's Walther Wendland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hagen Beil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 55 minutes into the match, lok leipzig's goal looked a bit too open when Walther Wendland came free, but Hagen Beil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 minutes of play, Spechtshof's Hermann Antwerpes made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hagen Beil was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th minute, Jaap Borgwardt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nico Bernstein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Piet Bohmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, lok leipzig's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Brockmann came free, but Hagen Beil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 minutes, Henning Mulder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spechtshof and the lok leipzig players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hagen Beil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walther Wendland's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute.
