The supporters of Dwoberg booed when FC Kämpfer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dariusz Brodzki didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th match minute, Dwoberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulli Wurm to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Ingvar Sarai managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kämpfer's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingvar Sarai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conny Neubauer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asbjörn Binding in the 28th minute of play forced FC Kämpfer's goalkeeper Damien Tippelt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Kämpfer's Ingvar Sarai got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ronald Sommerlatt charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronald Sommerlatt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as Dwoberg's Asbjörn Binding slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Damien Tippelt. That made the score 0-2 after 53 minutes of play. Conny Neubauer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Brodzki in the 58th minute of the match. A collision led to Dwoberg getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ronald Sommerlatt hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Dwoberg's Ronald Sommerlatt got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute of the match Christian Blaumüller sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Conny Neubauer skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Asbjörn Binding got free with Damien Tippelt in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Damien Tippelt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asbjörn Binding, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Brodzki in the 73rd minute of play forced Dwoberg's goalkeeper Conny Neubauer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Kämpfer's Kuno Delwig was substituted for Ingvar Sarai. A collision led to Dwoberg getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Branko Meuser hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dwoberg's zone, Christian Blaumüller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conny Neubauer came out of the goal and Christian Blaumüller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reinhold Köbler made in the 83rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Dwoberg's Eppo Rathje. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see FC Kämpfer lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
