In the 15th minute Dierk Dörken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efraim Störmsdörfer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dierk Dörken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efraim Störmsdörfer having to interfere. Dierk Dörken kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Mads Zantke's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Efraim Störmsdörfer skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Niklaus Bakunin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Merten Sarrazin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Oswald Krapf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dierk Dörken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

SC Otten were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
