After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Nathan Uhl managed to get in a good position for a shot. But to his dismay, Sixten Thorbrügge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 17 minutes into the game, Nathan Uhl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Claus Theunissen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nathan Uhl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Claus Theunissen made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Nützenberg's zone, Kasimir Seeliger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claus Theunissen came out of the goal and Kasimir Seeliger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nathan Uhl might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claus Theunissen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nathan Uhl ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the match, Nützenberg's goalkeeper Claus Theunissen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nathan Uhl. Claus Theunissen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alwin Martens's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Ferdinand Fritzsche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixten Thorbrügge in the 35th minute of the match. Hans-Martin Nülle kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. If Sixten Thorbrügge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mohamed Joithe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ferdinand Fritzsche made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Sixten Thorbrügge sent off a good shot on target. Mohamed Joithe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Fritzsche having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvano Thomaschewski during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Mohamed Joithe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferdinand Fritzsche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Joithe, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Nathan Uhl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Nützenberg booed when Schmilka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans-Martin Nülle didn't get a good kick on the ball.
