If Stanislaw Weichelt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Elvis Holzapfel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gottlieb Konrad was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 17th minute, Lorenzo Rosenthal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernt Dautzenberg. The goal made the score 1-1. Lorenzo Rosenthal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernt Dautzenberg having to make a save. Wieslaw Barowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernt Dautzenberg having to interfere. 郝默雄 kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Elvis Holzapfel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Gottlieb Konrad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gottlieb Konrad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislaw Weichelt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Wieslaw Barowicz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bernt Dautzenberg. That made the score 2-1 in the 44 minute of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Lorenzo Rosenthal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Second Chance!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Rosenthal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elvis Holzapfel to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, 1 Selin FC's Gottlieb Konrad threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Elvis Holzapfel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 59th match minute, Second Chance! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Brachmann to maneuver through the defense. Gottlieb Konrad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stanislaw Weichelt in the 60th minute. If Wieslaw Barowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernt Dautzenberg came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Second Chance!'s Lorenzo Rosenthal. But to his dismay, Lorenzo Rosenthal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Wieslaw Barowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Bernt Dautzenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lorenzo Rosenthal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernt Dautzenberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Lorenzo Rosenthal might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernt Dautzenberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lorenzo Rosenthal ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stanislaw Weichelt got free with Gottlieb Konrad in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wieslaw Barowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernt Dautzenberg having to interfere. After some careless play in the 1 Selin FC defense, Wieslaw Barowicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernt Dautzenberg. The 1 Selin FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernt Dautzenberg should have stopped the shot. Kurt Brachmann's late challenge caught a 1 Selin FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kurt Brachmann helped the player get up and apologised.
