Günther Ruhmland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Jens Keute made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Walter Thumerer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Retzelfembach FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Walter Thumerer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Schütt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the match, Retzelfembach FSV's goalkeeper Jens Keute had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Günther Ruhmland. In a very dangerous position, a player in Retzelfembach FSV fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Jens Keute, was totally fooled by 1.FC Beckum's Levin Meise, who 17 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 24 minutes into the game, Amir Nölting was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Retzelfembach FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 1.FC Beckum the free kick. In the 24th minute, Amir Nölting hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amir Nölting was shown his second yellow card after 29 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 30th match minute, Retzelfembach FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amir Nölting to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Zacharias Pinkawa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jens Keute. That made the score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. Jens Keute was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zacharias Pinkawa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 39 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thorsten Könnecke stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Günther Ruhmland might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jens Keute. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Günther Ruhmland ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of 1.FC Beckum booed when Retzelfembach FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thorsten Könnecke didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Günther Ruhmland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1.FC Beckum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Günther Ruhmland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the game, 1.FC Beckum's Zacharias Pinkawa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens Keute made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Jens Keute didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zacharias Pinkawa went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Günther Ruhmland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Keute having to interfere. Jens Keute took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacharias Pinkawa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 played minutes 1.FC Beckum got a freekick which was hit by Memet Wornowski. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Günther Ruhmland managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1.FC Beckum's supporters rose to their feet, but Günther Ruhmland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens Keute breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 98th minute, Günther Ruhmland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens Keute was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. 1.FC Beckum walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
