Rodolfo Kuehl started the match with the kick off. Lukas Sahin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimund Kleminski having to interfere. Raimund Kleminski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukas Sahin, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. If Carl Kramer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eberhard Neumann charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eberhard Neumann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th match minute, Galatasaray Spor Kulübü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eberhard Neumann to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Galatasaray Spor Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Kramer came free, but Raimund Kleminski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Tierberg's Lukas Sahin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raimund Kleminski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carl Kramer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Raimund Kleminski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimund Kleminski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lukas Sahin's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. When Rodolfo Kuehl came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Galatasaray Spor Kulübü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Kuehl couldn't finish the play. Hardi Gaffga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Kuehl in the 28th minute of the match. Raimund Kleminski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Sahin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the game, Carl Kramer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Raimund Kleminski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raimund Kleminski came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Tierberg's Carl Kramer. But to his dismay, Carl Kramer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Lukas Sahin sped through Galatasaray Spor Kulübü's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raimund Kleminski. The Galatasaray Spor Kulübü players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tierberg were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lukas Sahin was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Galatasaray Spor Kulübü booed when Tierberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Wicklein didn't get a good kick on the ball. Galatasaray Spor Kulübü's Jochen Krämer couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tierberg. Raimund Kleminski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukas Sahin in the 54th minute of play. Raimund Kleminski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Trumpf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hardi Gaffga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodolfo Kuehl went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Tierberg's Leo Trumpf got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Lukas Sahin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lukas Sahin struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Raimund Kleminski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tierberg. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carl Kramer got free with Raimund Kleminski in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jesper Albrecht received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Hardi Gaffga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Galatasaray Spor Kulübü's zone, Lukas Sahin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimund Kleminski came out of the goal and Lukas Sahin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Lukas Sahin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Galatasaray Spor Kulübü fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tierberg were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
