Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wolfgang Baur to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes Capellen FSV got a freekick which was hit by Ehrhard Münstermann. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Massoud Boll managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eschberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Massoud Boll was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stephane Lieder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 65 minutes into the game, Berko Mostert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When Wolfgang Baur came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Capellen FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wolfgang Baur couldn't finish the play. Sönke Hengherr hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Eschberg's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
