Bogdan Schebesta kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elmar Drinkard in the 39th minute of play forced 1.FC.KAISERSLAUTERN's goalkeeper Nils Henn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils Henn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elmar Drinkard's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Isengraben's Edgar Burtscher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Isengraben from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augustin Loreth to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Isengraben was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecil Schöpfer to maneuver through the defense. Isengraben's supporters rose to their feet, but Elmar Drinkard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nils Henn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Isengraben getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Marc Metzner hit a great ball. Edgar Burtscher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augustin Loreth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
