After having played for 22 minutes, Holger Kieper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SSC Chiemgau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Holger Kieper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of SSC Chiemgau booed when Dötlingen sv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raban Tolksdorf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ludwig Körth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Egbert Uhl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Holger Kieper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half SSC Chiemgau were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Holger Kieper stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Egbert Uhl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludwig Körth, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Ede Cziráki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Welf Abersell, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 78th match minute, Dötlingen sv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raban Tolksdorf to maneuver through the defense.
