Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lukas Köddermann made the kick off which started today's match. After 6 minutes, Mathias Hildenbrand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diyarbakır Spor and the Goliat Gold players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 played minutes Diyarbakır Spor got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Hildenbrand. Frederik Drenks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fortunatus Goldsche hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Dante Görtz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Max Sieg went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 19 played minutes Diyarbakır Spor got a freekick which was hit by Max Sieg. In the 22nd minute Lukas Köddermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Görtz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Jason Pommerenke threw the ball into play from the sideline. Goliat Gold's Franz Artmann quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Jason Pommerenke fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diyarbakır Spor's protests and gave Jason Pommerenke a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes Diyarbakır Spor got a freekick which was hit by Jason Pommerenke. When Frederik Drenks came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Goliat Gold fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederik Drenks couldn't finish the play. If Franz Artmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Goliat Gold's Dante Görtz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Köddermann in the 35th minute of play. Egon Zion scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Görtz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Goliat Gold's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 39th minute of the game, when Hartmut Segner after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Diyarbakır Spor's goal. Hartmut Segner was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. If Franz Artmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 46 minutes, Egmund Bruns managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goliat Gold's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egmund Bruns was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diyarbakır Spor's Tim Gabler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Diyarbakır Spor from getting a goal against them. After the first half Diyarbakır Spor were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frederik Drenks to strike the kick off in the second half. The attack was good, but when Franz Artmann in the 53rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Franz Artmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukas Köddermann in the 58th minute of play forced Goliat Gold's goalkeeper Dante Görtz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franz Artmann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tim Gabler having to make a save. Tim Gabler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederik Drenks in the 66th minute of the match. Tim Gabler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hartmut Segner, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Diyarbakır Spor's Tim Gabler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franz Artmann in the 73rd minute of play. Tim Gabler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franz Artmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Frederik Drenks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tim Gabler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. If Franz Artmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franz Artmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Diyarbakır Spor's goalkeeper Tim Gabler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Goliat Gold's Dante Görtz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Köddermann in the 93rd minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Goliat Gold players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
