Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Burt Weller started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Obergrainau FC got a freekick which was hit by Sievert Krüsmann. 5 minutes into the match, Obergrainau FC's goal looked a bit too open when Burt Weller came free, but Alfons Lautwein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Philipp Schreiber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavier Gowinkowsky saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Philipp Schreiber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Winzeldorf's Alfons Lautwein threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Christoph Trendelenburg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Adrian Achmüller took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfons Lautwein. Alfons Lautwein dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Wilhelm Specht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Winzeldorf's goalkeeper Xavier Gowinkowsky, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Winzeldorf's Ben Roppel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfons Lautwein narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Obergrainau FC's Leopold Schlierer got a free kick in the 30th minute. Alfons Lautwein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben Roppel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Winzeldorf's Xavier Gowinkowsky played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilhelm Specht in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Specht in the 47th minute of play forced Winzeldorf's goalkeeper Xavier Gowinkowsky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Philipp Schreiber made a kick off. Xavier Gowinkowsky made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilhelm Specht in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burt Weller in the 58th minute of play forced Obergrainau FC's goalkeeper Alfons Lautwein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Philipp Schreiber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Obergrainau FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Philipp Schreiber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xavier Gowinkowsky breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karsten Lang during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Karsten Lang hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Burt Weller in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfons Lautwein prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Winzeldorf's Xavier Gowinkowsky proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Winzeldorf from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Burt Weller in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfons Lautwein prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th minute, Philipp Schreiber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Toni Schmal hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Xavier Gowinkowsky showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philipp Schreiber, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Wilhelm Specht could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Xavier Gowinkowsky made a huge save. 85 minutes into the match, Obergrainau FC's goal looked a bit too open when Burt Weller came free, but Alfons Lautwein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars Hinz charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lars Hinz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th minute of the match Winzeldorf got a corner. Obergrainau FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Christoph Trendelenburg ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 90thth minute of the game Adrian Achmüller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Obergrainau FC's Alfons Lautwein was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Burt Weller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfons Lautwein having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Lars Hinz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Winzeldorf's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
