Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ole Rexrodt started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the München Galaxy defense, Wulf Janing kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Josef Falke. The München Galaxy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Josef Falke should have stopped the shot. Ole Rexrodt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 21 minutes, Rudolf Trieb mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the München Galaxy and the Froschsee players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, München Galaxy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolf Trieb to maneuver through the defense. Josef Falke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ole Rexrodt's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. If Klaus Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Welf Hiller's late challenge caught a München Galaxy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Welf Hiller helped the player get up and apologised. Welf Hiller kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Kamil Thorbrügge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ole Rexrodt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Josef Falke came out and tried to block the shot, but Ole Rexrodt slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 40th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Erich Balog was a little too slow when Klaus Reis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 2-2. 54 minutes into the game, Ole Rexrodt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Froschsee's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave München Galaxy the free kick. After 54 played minutes Froschsee got a freekick which was hit by Ole Rexrodt. Josef Falke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ole Rexrodt, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. If Kamil Thorbrügge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ole Rexrodt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Josef Falke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Ole Rexrodt made a precise shot to the right of Josef Falke. München Galaxy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ole Rexrodt in the 73rd minute of play forced München Galaxy's goalkeeper Josef Falke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan Wulf during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Froschsee booed when München Galaxy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Wulf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kamil Thorbrügge struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Josef Falke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Froschsee. After having played for 86 minutes, Ole Rexrodt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Froschsee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ole Rexrodt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Jan Wulf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in München Galaxy fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! After having played for 97 minutes, Kamil Thorbrügge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Froschsee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kamil Thorbrügge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
