Edgar Bock made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto Pomper in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Prunn FC's Roberto Pomper nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgar Bock made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Babbis Vyntras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Breitling having to interfere. Leonhard Schlumberger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Viktor Breitling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viktor Breitling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Babbis Vyntras in the 15th minute of the match. Viktor Breitling came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Gerbertshaus's Leonhard Schlumberger. But to his dismay, Leonhard Schlumberger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 24 minutes into the match, Leonhard Schlumberger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Viktor Breitling. Prunn FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonhard Schlumberger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Viktor Breitling stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonhard Schlumberger's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Lindenthal in the 28th minute of play forced Gerbertshaus's goalkeeper Edgar Bock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerbertshaus's Edgar Bock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Gerbertshaus from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Leonhard Schlumberger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viktor Breitling was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. 38 minutes into the match, Babbis Vyntras notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Prunn FC's Viktor Breitling. Viktor Breitling was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edgar Bock was a little too slow when Roberto Pomper got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-3. The audience was convinced that Marcus Lindenthal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Bock was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. In the 45th minute, Roberto Pomper got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerbertshaus's Edgar Bock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Gerbertshaus from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonhard Schlumberger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Viktor Breitling was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Gerbertshaus's zone, Jonas Herber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Bock came out of the goal and Jonas Herber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerbertshaus's Edgar Bock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Lindenthal in the 93rd minute of play. Edgar Bock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Lindenthal, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Gerbertshaus supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gerbertshaus would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
