In the 6th minute of the match, Babbis Vyntras tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Viktor Breitling saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 7th minute, Leonhard Schlumberger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Viktor Breitling was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Edgar Bock stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Lindenthal's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 19th minute Roberto Pomper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Bock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Gerbertshaus's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Lindenthal came free, but Edgar Bock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viktor Breitling made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Leonhard Schlumberger sent off a good shot on target. The throw-in from Jonas Herber in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Gerbertshaus's Philo Schubert. Thanks to some nice moves Leonhard Schlumberger could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Viktor Breitling however easily saved by the left post. Edgar Bock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Don Trampenau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Babbis Vyntras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viktor Breitling read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Gerbertshaus booed when Prunn FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Färfers didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Viktor Breitling managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Gerbertshaus's Leonhard Schlumberger fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 41 minutes Prunn FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Heinz Vogel who took care of the corner kick. Gerbertshaus's Edgar Bock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malte Färfers in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute Roberto Pomper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Bock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viktor Breitling made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonhard Schlumberger in the 48th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcus Lindenthal was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Don Trampenau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Prunn FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gerbertshaus the free kick. Gerbertshaus's Patrick Schlumberger was substituted for Philo Schubert. In the 55th match minute, Prunn FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Don Trampenau to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Bock was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Marcus Lindenthal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcus Lindenthal really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. 66 minutes into the match, Gerbertshaus's goalkeeper Edgar Bock had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Pomper. Gerbertshaus's Edgar Bock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Gerbertshaus from getting a goal against them. Edgar Bock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malte Färfers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Pomper's late challenge caught a Gerbertshaus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Pomper helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, Roberto Pomper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgar Bock made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Roberto Pomper sent off a good shot on target. Edgar Bock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malte Färfers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 played minutes Gerbertshaus got a freekick which was hit by Kaspar Prott. The audience was convinced that Marcus Lindenthal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Bock was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Roberto Pomper could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Edgar Bock however easily saved by the left post. Viktor Breitling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonhard Schlumberger in the 86th minute of the match. Roberto Pomper could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Edgar Bock made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Göppel in the 91st minute of play forced Gerbertshaus's goalkeeper Edgar Bock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerbertshaus's Edgar Bock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Gerbertshaus from getting a goal against them. After 94 played minutes Gerbertshaus got a freekick which was hit by Maiko Krone. When Babbis Vyntras came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Gerbertshaus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Babbis Vyntras couldn't finish the play.
