Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Radolfzell's Karl Breitschuster started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stefan Lüngen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anton Häusling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trent Langguth having to interfere. Karl Breitschuster took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carl Graul. Carl Graul dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 14 played minutes Radolfzell got a freekick which was hit by Siegfried Kemmler. In the 17th match minute, Radolfzell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abbe Neisen to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Ronnie Diem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bayer04's Anton Häusling got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anton Häusling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Erler got free with Trent Langguth in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Tobias Erler came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Bayer04 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Erler couldn't finish the play. Carl Graul came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Radolfzell's Siegfried Kemmler. But to his dismay, Siegfried Kemmler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 38th minute, Abbe Neisen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Hakon von Dreusche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Erler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Trent Langguth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Stefan Lüngen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bayer04 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anton Häusling made a kick off. Anton Häusling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Lüngen in the 61st minute of play forced Radolfzell's goalkeeper Trent Langguth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Anton Häusling put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Trent Langguth. Anton Häusling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trent Langguth having to interfere. Loy Zion recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Bayer04's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Breitschuster came free, but Carl Graul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Stefan Lüngen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bayer04's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Radolfzell the free kick. The supporters of Radolfzell booed when Bayer04 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Lüngen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Siegfried Kemmler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Carl Graul made a huge save. In the 77th minute, Anton Häusling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Bayer04's Eckehard Große Verspohl got a free kick in the 79th minute. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 80th minute, when Radolfzell's Uwe Johnson after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Carl Graul in Bayer04's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. In the 83rd minute, Anton Häusling left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bayer04 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Bayer04's Carl Graul proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Bayer04 from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute, Amatus Schweizerhof hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Stefan Lüngen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
