Ernst Woldag stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Labsch's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Martin Labsch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Fischbachtal getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Hanjo van Dorp hit a great ball. Ernst Woldag made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Labsch in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Fischbachtal's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Labsch came free, but Ernst Woldag reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Anton Kohl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fischbachtal's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Kohl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norbert Burg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norbert Burg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fischbachtal.
