The audience was convinced that Eugen Brückl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diego Ernemann was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Alex Weste hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Diego Ernemann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikolaus Höntsch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Ernemann came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Bergerhausen's Eugen Brückl. But to his dismay, Eugen Brückl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eugen Brückl was the one to do the kick off. Diego Ernemann was a little too slow when Eugen Brückl got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-2. With a little luck, stahl-rot's Diego Ernemann got control of the ball when Nikolaus Höntsch tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Blumenthal in the 60th minute of play forced stahl-rot's goalkeeper Diego Ernemann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. stahl-rot's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eugen Brückl 61 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Nikolaus Höntsch got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 67 minutes into the match, Eugen Brückl dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Diego Ernemann, 0-4. Nikolaus Höntsch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Diego Ernemann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugen Brückl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bergerhausen's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
