Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eugen Brückl got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Nikolaus Höntsch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tjard Saefkow was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Club an der Leine's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Nikolaus Höntsch scored to the left of an out of position Tjard Saefkow, making the score, 2-0. After some careless play in the Club an der Leine defense, Eugen Brückl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tjard Saefkow. The Club an der Leine fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tjard Saefkow should have stopped the shot. If Nikolaus Höntsch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Eugen Brückl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tjard Saefkow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Nikolaus Höntsch made a precise shot to the right of Tjard Saefkow. Club an der Leine's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Tjard Saefkow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Brückl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oleg Ahrens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helmut Schöneweiß in the 33rd minute of play. Tjard Saefkow made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nikolaus Höntsch in the 36th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugen Brückl in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tjard Saefkow saved Club an der Leine from getting behind. If Nikolaus Höntsch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaro Schubert to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Bergerhausen's Gernot Walde got a free kick in the 51st minute. A collision led to Club an der Leine getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Helmut Schöneweiß hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Bergerhausen's Hans Bothenhain got a free kick in the 59th minute. Helmut Schöneweiß came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Oleg Ahrens could save by the left post. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bergerhausen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcio Kahlert was slow to take the kick. During this time Club an der Leine's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Club an der Leine's Marcio Kahlert to fire away a dangerous shot which Oleg Ahrens despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tjard Saefkow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Brückl in the 64th minute of play. Tjard Saefkow came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Bergerhausen's Nikolaus Höntsch. But to his dismay, Nikolaus Höntsch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Club an der Leine's Tjard Saefkow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Brückl in the 71st minute of play. Tjard Saefkow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Brückl, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Leonid Mackowiak charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonid Mackowiak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Club an der Leine getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Leonid Mackowiak hit a great ball. Nikolaus Höntsch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tjard Saefkow having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, Aloys Bürsch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bergerhausen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club an der Leine the free kick. In the 94th minute of the match Hans Bothenhain shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tjard Saefkow showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bergerhausen's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
