Eiserne Woelfe's Hannes Bruhn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Friedrich Nawrath in the 13th minute of play. Hannes Bruhn made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Alfred Faßbach sent off a good shot on target. After 15 played minutes Bistrup got a freekick which was hit by Friedrich Nawrath. In the 19th match minute, Eiserne Woelfe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnold Kellermann to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Bistrup's Hannes Bruhn threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Friedrich Nawrath, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 74th minute Friedrich Nawrath shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Bruhn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Edgar Kerth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eiserne Woelfe's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Kerth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tim Pawelski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgar Kerth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Tim Pawelski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfred Faßbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannes Bruhn having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toni Frosch in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tim Pawelski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Eiserne Woelfe getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Linus Brömme hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eberhard Bäcker in the 92nd minute of play forced Eiserne Woelfe's goalkeeper Hannes Bruhn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Alfred Faßbach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bistrup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred Faßbach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bistrup's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
