Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Piero Fehling started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Ellerau's goal looked a bit too open when Knut Polz came free, but Vico Oberlercher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vico Oberlercher came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Röhre 04's Peer Suhr. But to his dismay, Peer Suhr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Vico Oberlercher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piero Fehling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC Röhre 04 getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Otfried Hengemühle hit a great ball. Ellerau's Franz Gent came free and shot a quick shot against goal 13 minutes in the game, fortunately Klaus Reck had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Franz Gent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Otto Pohl kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Ellerau's Vico Oberlercher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peer Suhr in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, FC Röhre 04 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balthasar Jörn to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Carsten Wagner sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Röhre 04's Klaus Reck didn't even have to move. In the 31stth minute of the game Piero Fehling who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ellerau's Vico Oberlercher was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Otfried Hengemühle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Vico Oberlercher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vico Oberlercher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otfried Hengemühle in the 36th minute of play. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Otfried Hengemühle sped through Ellerau's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vico Oberlercher. The supporters of Ellerau booed when FC Röhre 04 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peer Suhr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ellerau's Gerold Bergner got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ellerau's Arlo Adler got a free kick in the 46th minute. After 47 played minutes, FC Röhre 04's Volkmar Werfel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vico Oberlercher came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Röhre 04 reached it. The Ellerau players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Röhre 04 were winning 0-2.

If Gerold Bergner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vico Oberlercher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piero Fehling, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Knut Polz got free with Vico Oberlercher in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Günther Herzig during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vico Oberlercher was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Piero Fehling capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Piero Fehling really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Gerold Bergner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ellerau's Vico Oberlercher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piero Fehling in the 71st minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, FC Röhre 04's goal looked a bit too open when Gerold Bergner came free, but Klaus Reck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerold Bergner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klaus Reck having to interfere. When Ellerau's Franz Gent in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Röhre 04's goalie prevented a goal. Piero Fehling received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vico Oberlercher came out and tried to block the shot, but Piero Fehling slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 91st minute. If Franz Gent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC Röhre 04 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
