Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wolf-Rüdiger Balski started the match with the kick off. If Otfried Hengemühle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 5 minutes into the game, Piero Fehling cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Volker Kader was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Otfried Hengemühle took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Volker Kader. Volker Kader dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After having played for 17 minutes, Otfried Hengemühle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Röhre 04's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otfried Hengemühle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, FC Röhre 04's goal looked a bit too open when Wolf-Rüdiger Balski came free, but Klaus Reck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piero Fehling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Otfried Hengemühle came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the FC Röhre 04 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otfried Hengemühle couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Kettenbach FSV getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Oskar Hopmeier hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kettenbach FSV's zone, Otfried Hengemühle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Volker Kader came out of the goal and Otfried Hengemühle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Piero Fehling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute Piero Fehling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volker Kader saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Piero Fehling made a precise shot to the right of Volker Kader. Kettenbach FSV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 39th minute, Piero Fehling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Otfried Hengemühle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Piero Fehling stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC Röhre 04 booed when Kettenbach FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricky Röttgens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Volker Kader made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Otfried Hengemühle sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute, Piero Fehling fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Volker Kader made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Otfried Hengemühle sent off a good shot on target. Volker Kader took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piero Fehling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Volker Kader made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piero Fehling in the 65th minute of play. Otfried Hengemühle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Volker Kader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rdth minute of the game Peer Suhr who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kettenbach FSV's Volker Kader was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 73 played minutes FC Röhre 04 got a freekick which was hit by Costa Bartsch. After 78 played minutes, FC Röhre 04's Volkmar Werfel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Volker Kader came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Röhre 04 reached it. Kuno Anbacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klaus Reck having to interfere. Volker Kader made an important save on a dangerous shot by Otfried Hengemühle in the 85th minute. In the 92nd minute Piero Fehling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volker Kader saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Röhre 04's Otfried Hengemühle got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Röhre 04's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
