The corner was taken by Nils Schwienheer in the 12th minute. Pascal Reichelt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Queitsch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Erik Queitsch took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Sigi Scherrer to make any attempt to save it. Deon Hörster recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erik Queitsch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Sigi Scherrer made a huge save. Sigi Scherrer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik Queitsch in the 37th minute. Hernan Pinkawa hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. When Erik Queitsch came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Zuckerberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Queitsch couldn't finish the play. Sigi Scherrer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens Zurcher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Erik Queitsch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 49th minute, Jens Zurcher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Pascal Reichelt made the kick off in the second half. If Deon Hörster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens Zurcher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sand im Getriebe's goalkeeper Sigi Scherrer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 68 minutes, Pascal Reichelt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sand im Getriebe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascal Reichelt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute Pascal Reichelt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Ningel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Erik Queitsch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henrik Ningel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascal Reichelt, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Zuckerberg's Jens Zurcher got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 82 minutes Zuckerberg's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nils Schwienheer who took care of the corner kick. Nils Schwienheer made a great header on Sand im Getriebe's corner, it was just that Zuckerberg's Henrik Ningel managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 84th minute, Sand im Getriebe's Pascal Reichelt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After 88 played minutes Sand im Getriebe got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Pinkawa. Deon Hörster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
