Helmuth Rump was extremely unlucky when he, in the 15th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The attack was good, but when Ingmar Kitzbichker in the 15th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Ingmar Kitzbichker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melchior Berssenbrügge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helmuth Rump in the 24th minute of the match. Lothar Hertäg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piero Lieberz in the 30th minute of play. Otmar Linke struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Lothar Hertäg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bongard. Ingmar Kitzbichker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Melchior Berssenbrügge made a huge save. Melchior Berssenbrügge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helmuth Rump in the 35th minute of the match. Helmuth Rump was extremely unlucky when he, in the 37th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 39 minutes into the match, Bongard's goal looked a bit too open when Helmuth Rump came free, but Melchior Berssenbrügge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th match minute, ERCIYES SPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingmar Kitzbichker to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bongard fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Melchior Berssenbrügge, was totally fooled by ERCIYES SPOR's Ingmar Kitzbichker, who 50 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Otmar Linke to make the kick off. In the 56thth minute of the game Helmuth Rump who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bongard's Melchior Berssenbrügge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Bongard's goal looked a bit too open when Ingmar Kitzbichker came free, but Melchior Berssenbrügge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Helmuth Rump had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melchior Berssenbrügge. Bongard's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Helmuth Rump was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 64 minutes, Arminius Faust mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bongard and the ERCIYES SPOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Bongard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arminius Faust to maneuver through the defense. Helmuth Rump might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melchior Berssenbrügge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Helmuth Rump ran back to his position shaking his head. When Felix Hofmeister fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ERCIYES SPOR's protests and gave Felix Hofmeister a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 played minutes Bongard got a freekick which was hit by Cicero Denzin. ERCIYES SPOR's Helmuth Rump got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melchior Berssenbrügge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingmar Kitzbichker in the 82nd minute of the match. Lothar Hertäg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otmar Linke in the 85th minute of play. After 90 minutes of play, ERCIYES SPOR's Ingmar Kitzbichker made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melchior Berssenbrügge was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 94 minutes, Otmar Linke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bongard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otmar Linke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ingmar Kitzbichker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ERCIYES SPOR fully deserved thier win.
