Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dankward Hildenbrand kicked off to start the match. Götz Despang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Holsing in the 2nd minute of play. Unteres Gaistal FSV's Mehmet Holsing got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Thilo Kornath hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berthold Krey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Götz Despang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Götz Despang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Holsing in the 30th minute of the match. Dankward Hildenbrand might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boris Baitschora. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dankward Hildenbrand ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th minute, Dankward Hildenbrand ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boris Baitschora was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Raik Fohler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 45 played minutes Unteres Gaistal FSV got a freekick which was hit by Akira Brockmann. Boris Baitschora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raik Fohler in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Bömighausen FSV were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Unteres Gaistal FSV's goalkeeper Boris Baitschora, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Dankward Hildenbrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dankward Hildenbrand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute Dankward Hildenbrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boris Baitschora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raik Fohler succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 67th playminute. Boris Baitschora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dankward Hildenbrand, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. With a little luck, Unteres Gaistal FSV's Boris Baitschora got control of the ball when Raik Fohler tried to sneak it across the goal line. Unteres Gaistal FSV's Boris Baitschora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dankward Hildenbrand in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Dankward Hildenbrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boris Baitschora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unteres Gaistal FSV's Boris Baitschora proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Unteres Gaistal FSV from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Unteres Gaistal FSV's Bjarne Willers got a free kick in the 88th minute. After 89 played minutes, Bömighausen FSV's Karl Martin Schmeissner shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Boris Baitschora came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bömighausen FSV reached it. Berthold Krey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Götz Despang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Holsing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Bömighausen FSV supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bömighausen FSV would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
