Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eros Kaiser took the kick off in the first half of the match. Eros Kaiser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Lysander Memmert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 4 minutes into the game, Mirko Schüttler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Referinghausen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave fc enercon the free kick. Ralf Hubert received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Friedbert Bodenschmidt came out and tried to block the shot, but Ralf Hubert slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. Ralf Hubert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ralf Hubert came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Referinghausen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ralf Hubert couldn't finish the play. With his leg Friedbert Bodenschmidt managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Referinghausen's Ralf Hubert fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 26 minutes into the game, Ralf Hubert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Friedbert Bodenschmidt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Niko Über fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Referinghausen's protests and gave Niko Über a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, one of Referinghausen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Referinghausen. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ralf Hubert in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Friedbert Bodenschmidt saved fc enercon from getting behind. After having played for 41 minutes, Niko Über managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Referinghausen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niko Über was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in fc enercon's zone, Sönke Sauter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Friedbert Bodenschmidt came out of the goal and Sönke Sauter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Ralf Hubert made the kick off in the second half. Ralf Hubert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Friedbert Bodenschmidt having to make a save. Referinghausen's Sönke Sauter got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ralf Hubert struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Friedbert Bodenschmidt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Referinghausen. Friedbert Bodenschmidt came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Referinghausen's Ralf Hubert. But to his dismay, Ralf Hubert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The Referinghausen fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Referinghausen's Ralf Hubert looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 67th minute, Leonhard Achterbusch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Friedbert Bodenschmidt didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Referinghausen's Ralf Hubert shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After having played for 84 minutes, Mario Eck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Referinghausen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Eck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th match minute, fc enercon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eros Kaiser to maneuver through the defense. Mario Eck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Friedbert Bodenschmidt having to interfere. If Ralf Hubert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Referinghausen players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
