Spectators: 7200 (Terracing: 5575, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tim Müller kicked off to start the match. If Stephan Bismarck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stephan Bismarck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fenerbahçe's Tim Müller got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jürgen Schaaf stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tim Müller's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Georg Podella kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of Fenerbahçe booed when FC Pilger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frido Warlies didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Pilger's zone, Stephan Bismarck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jürgen Schaaf came out of the goal and Stephan Bismarck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th match minute, FC Pilger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentin Sehrt to maneuver through the defense. Mario Stuntebeck made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Adam Walloch sent off a good shot on target. 23 minutes into the match, Eddy Chef notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Pilger's Jürgen Schaaf. Jürgen Schaaf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to FC Pilger getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Adam Walloch hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tim Müller in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jürgen Schaaf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stephan Bismarck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tim Müller in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jürgen Schaaf saved FC Pilger from getting behind. Jürgen Schaaf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephan Bismarck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Fenerbahçe's Tim Müller in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Pilger's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Frido Warlies made the kick off in the second half. Roman Harth kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 54 minutes, Tim Müller made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. FC Pilger's Jürgen Schaaf tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Jürgen Schaaf managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Fenerbahçe's Tim Müller fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Dietmar Brink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fenerbahçe's Eddy Chef got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Tim Müller reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jürgen Schaaf. The goal made the score 1-4. Eddy Chef blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jürgen Schaaf having to make a save. In the 75th minute Florentin Sehrt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Stuntebeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tim Müller in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jürgen Schaaf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tim Müller scored 1-5 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jürgen Schaaf, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fenerbahçe's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
