The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Klaus Sipple who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Felix Addo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 91st minute Fabien Hägele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Addo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Pius Hamacher fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored uniq b12's protests and gave Pius Hamacher a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes uniq b12 got a freekick which was hit by Pius Hamacher. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Wallbach walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
