The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rafael Krogmann took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elis Wolff. Elis Wolff dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Wülfing's Elis Wolff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Krogmann in the 7th minute of play. Elis Wolff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ekke Janotta in the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Marienstatt's Rafael Krogmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elis Wolff made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Wülfing's Elis Wolff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ekke Janotta in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Ekke Janotta made a precise shot to the right of Elis Wolff. Wülfing's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Elis Wolff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ekke Janotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 32nd minute Rafael Krogmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elis Wolff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Wülfing booed when Marienstatt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Lütkebohmert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ekke Janotta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elis Wolff having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Antti Hinz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Marienstatt were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Krogmann to make the kick off. When Dominik Ungewitter fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wülfing's protests and gave Dominik Ungewitter a yellow card for diving instead. Dominik Ungewitter kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Ekke Janotta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 58 minutes into the match, Wülfing's goalkeeper Elis Wolff had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ekke Janotta. Leandro Lütkebohmert hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Friedl Reb during the 69th minute. The tension between the Wülfing and the Marienstatt players grew even worse after the yellow card. 72 minutes into the game, one of Wülfing:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Marienstatt a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ronald Pfeffer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Wülfing's Elis Wolff. 0-4. Ronald Theuer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tore Fricke, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Ekke Janotta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Wülfing's Antti Hinz got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute, Ekke Janotta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ekke Janotta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Elis Wolff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Krogmann got free with Elis Wolff in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ekke Janotta struck a weak shot in the 101st minute. Elis Wolff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marienstatt.
