Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Marscheid FC's Torsten Tierse started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Lappenstuhl defense, Torsten Tierse kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toralf Machold. The Lappenstuhl fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toralf Machold should have stopped the shot. 8 minutes into the match, Marscheid FC's goalkeeper Giuseppe Biermann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andreas Wille. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudolf Mosch in the 15th minute of play forced Lappenstuhl's goalkeeper Toralf Machold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Torsten Tierse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torsten Tierse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lappenstuhl's Toralf Machold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Mosch in the 21st minute of play. Toralf Machold came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Marscheid FC's Torsten Tierse. But to his dismay, Torsten Tierse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 33 minutes into the match, Lappenstuhl's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Tierse came free, but Toralf Machold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Lappenstuhl's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolf Mosch came free, but Toralf Machold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rudolf Mosch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torsten Mutke stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Andreas Wille came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Lappenstuhl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andreas Wille couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Marscheid FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Bülent Schulte hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Marscheid FC's zone, Torsten Mutke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giuseppe Biermann came out of the goal and Torsten Mutke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the match, Lappenstuhl's Jorg Gunselmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giuseppe Biermann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andreas Wille struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Giuseppe Biermann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lappenstuhl. Torsten Tierse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Toralf Machold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Rudolf Mosch made a precise shot to the right of Toralf Machold. Lappenstuhl's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Rudolf Mosch in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Toralf Machold, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Marscheid FC booed when Lappenstuhl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Kreis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rudolf Mosch struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Toralf Machold didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marscheid FC. Torsten Tierse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Rudolf Mosch made a precise shot to the right of Toralf Machold. Lappenstuhl's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 1-5 became the score in the 93rd minute when Torsten Mutke elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
