Valérien Goetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Friedl Bleser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Friedl Bleser in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valérien Goetz saved KKS Lech Poznań from getting behind. 66 minutes into the game, Wulf-Dieter Hogen threw the ball into play from the sideline. Nettgau FSV's Rico Reinke quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Ernst Zuydtwyck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th match minute, Nettgau FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eggert Voltz to maneuver through the defense. After 76 played minutes KKS Lech Poznań got a freekick which was hit by Tim Beckers. Klemens Arendt's late challenge caught a KKS Lech Poznań's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Klemens Arendt helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Nettgau FSV getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Gerald Adam hit a great ball.
