Friedrich Gaitanzis's late challenge caught a Schattenläufer FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ambrosius Baumgartner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximilian Gül, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute Maximilian Gül shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosius Baumgartner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apostol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximilian Gül was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximilian Gül fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosius Baumgartner having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Apostol players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
