Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jaap Kubisch kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind HasenJümmel's goalkeeper Ole Harpain, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, HasenJümmel's goalkeeper Ole Harpain had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charles Joukov. 6 minutes into the match, Jaap Kubisch notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SV Bad Laer's Delron Staudenhöchte. Delron Staudenhöchte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. HasenJümmel's Ole Harpain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kolja Kluttig in the 15th minute of play. Kolja Kluttig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ole Harpain having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Jaap Kubisch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HasenJümmel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, HasenJümmel's Silvio Altvater got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 28th match minute, HasenJümmel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Levent Fimmen to maneuver through the defense. Ole Harpain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kolja Kluttig, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in HasenJümmel's zone, Charles Joukov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ole Harpain came out of the goal and Charles Joukov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 38 minutes of play, HasenJümmel's Wolfgang Ellermann made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delron Staudenhöchte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Charles Joukovs short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Ole Harpain to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of SV Bad Laer booed when HasenJümmel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charly Sendt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half HasenJümmel were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kolja Kluttig to make the kick off. Joe Bräcklein took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ole Harpain. HasenJümmel's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to HasenJümmel getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Levent Fimmen hit a great ball. The attack was good, but when Kolja Kluttig in the 59th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Wolfgang Ellermann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Timm Reinholz kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, HasenJümmel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Altvater to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Gunter Hinsken sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and HasenJümmel's Ole Harpain didn't even have to move. Ole Harpain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kolja Kluttig in the 78th minute of play. Ole Harpain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kolja Kluttig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reinhard Neumann's late challenge caught a SV Bad Laer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reinhard Neumann helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Reinhard Neumann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ole Harpain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Joukov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kolja Kluttig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ole Harpain having to interfere. When HasenJümmel's Jaap Kubisch in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SV Bad Laer's goalie prevented a goal. SV Bad Laer's Delron Staudenhöchte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaap Kubisch in the 93rd minute of play. In the 96th minute Jaap Kubisch suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. When Zeno Tillich fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SV Bad Laer's protests and gave Zeno Tillich a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in SV Bad Laer fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 97th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Delron Staudenhöchte, was totally fooled by HasenJümmel's Sebastian Schindler, who 99 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The HasenJümmel supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing HasenJümmel would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
