A collision led to Stiftsgrundhof FSV getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Christoph Addo hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Mario Trautmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christoph Addo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Harald Funkel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kosmas von Stahl came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Ober Bodenrain FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kosmas von Stahl couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Christoph Addo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ralf Nagel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Trautmann in the 43rd minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christoph Addo was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Torsten Kauch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christoph Addo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harald Funkel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Mario Trautmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 73 minutes, Kosmas von Stahl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ober Bodenrain FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kosmas von Stahl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Kosmas von Stahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mario Trautmann who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Ralf Nagel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ralf Nagel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kosmas von Stahl in the 84th minute of the match. 3-1 became the score in the 87th minute when Kosmas von Stahl elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Stiftsgrundhof FSV's Ralf Nagel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kosmas von Stahl in the 92nd minute of play. Danny Nolting recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stiftsgrundhof FSV's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
