After having played for 3 minutes, Niklas Bister managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 11th minute, Dennis Mattes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Christoph Horn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Oktay spor kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Volkhard Spanier came free, but Manuel Orth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Orth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Volkhard Spanier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Oktay spor kulübü fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Oktay spor kulübü's David Reckmann looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Oktay spor kulübü! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Reckmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Volkhard Spanier in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Orth saved Oktay spor kulübü from getting behind. With his leg Manuel Orth managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Lanertshausen's Christoph Horn fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 59 minutes into the game, Niklas Bister was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 63rd minute Volkhard Spanier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Orth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 minutes, Volkhard Spanier made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Oktay spor kulübü's Manuel Orth tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Volkhard Spanier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Manuel Orth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Orth came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Lanertshausen's Christoph Horn. But to his dismay, Christoph Horn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Lanertshausen players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
