Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Samuel Stammler started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Uwe Obladen in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sepp Flanz saved Glane from getting behind. Sepp Flanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldemar Lämmel in the 7th minute. Johann Pförtner kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Glane's zone, Uwe Obladen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sepp Flanz came out of the goal and Uwe Obladen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Samuel Stammler made a precise shot to the right of Marco Battke. Stiftsfeld FSV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 19th minute, Uwe Obladen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sepp Flanz. The goal made the score 1-1. 25 minutes into the match, Joseph Appenzeller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Battke. Stiftsfeld FSV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joseph Appenzeller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The supporters of Glane booed when Stiftsfeld FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Wohlleben didn't get a good kick on the ball. Achim Marx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sepp Flanz having to make a save. In the 38th minute Achim Marx suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 39 minutes into the game, György Plotkowiak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glane's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stiftsfeld FSV the free kick. Sepp Flanz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Irmin Kuhn. Marco Battke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuel Stammler's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Stammler in the 44th minute of play forced Stiftsfeld FSV's goalkeeper Marco Battke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Waldemar Lämmel made a kick off. Waldemar Lämmel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Sepp Flanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sepp Flanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Wohlleben in the 64th minute of the match. Joseph Appenzellers short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Marco Battke to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 71st match minute, Stiftsfeld FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uwe Obladen to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuel Stammler in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Battke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marco Battke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Stammler, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Uwe Obladen charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uwe Obladen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Stiftsfeld FSV's Uwe Obladen got a free kick in the 86th minute. Marco Battke was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Harry Kittel. Fritz Esche kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Samuel Stammler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Waldemar Lämmel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Stammler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Battke having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Glane had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
