Balthasar Merk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Rübenach having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Bredenbock FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deon Obereiner to maneuver through the defense. Springhorn's Heiko Hocke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Springhorn from getting a goal against them. Springhorn's Erhard Jagemann quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Uno Blomeyer, made in the 32nd minute of the game. Reinhard Volz struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Arne Rübenach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Springhorn. If Friedo Koppelberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balthasar Merk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erhard Jagemann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the match, Bredenbock FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Friedo Koppelberg came free, but Arne Rübenach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lukas Mukengechay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Friedo Koppelberg in the 52nd minute of play forced Bredenbock FSV's goalkeeper Arne Rübenach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Friedo Koppelberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sören Nonnenmacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Rübenach having to interfere. Arne Rübenach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Kliemt in the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Friedo Koppelberg notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Bredenbock FSV's Arne Rübenach. Arne Rübenach was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 72nd minute, Gunter Thome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heiko Hocke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Detlef Pützmann in the 74th minute of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Sören Nonnenmacher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Springhorn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sören Nonnenmacher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Friedo Koppelberg came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Springhorn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Friedo Koppelberg couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the match, Bredenbock FSV's goalkeeper Arne Rübenach had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Friedo Koppelberg. Reinhard Volz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arne Rübenach having to make a save. Erhard Jagemann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Rübenach having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukas Mukengechay in the 91st minute of play forced Springhorn's goalkeeper Heiko Hocke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Springhorn's goal looked a bit too open when Albrecht Bergmann came free, but Heiko Hocke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arne Rübenach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Friedo Koppelberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Bredenbock FSV fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Springhorn were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
