Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hector Künzel started the match with the kick off. When %teams%'s Innozenz Blindow was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-0 just inside the left pole, 3 minutes into the game. Alfons Rödling was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. If Felix Connemann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Rheindahlen's Innozenz Blindow got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Innozenz Blindow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Felix Connemann came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the SC Rheindahlen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Connemann couldn't finish the play. After having played for 21 minutes, Felix Connemann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Rheindahlen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Connemann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Innozenz Blindow kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfons Rödling. That made the score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. The supporters of SC Rheindahlen booed when Lederberg FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xaver Dautzenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Axel Hauck fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Rheindahlen's protests and gave Axel Hauck a yellow card for diving instead. If Thomas Weste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Connemann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Alfons Rödling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Innozenz Blindow came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the SC Rheindahlen fans jumped to their feet. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolo Schirmer got free with Alfons Rödling in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Lederberg FSV getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Kay Scharfscheer hit a great ball. Innozenz Blindow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Alfons Rödling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Lederberg FSV's zone, Felix Connemann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfons Rödling came out of the goal and Felix Connemann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfons Rödling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Innozenz Blindow, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Alfons Rödling stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Connemann's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Lederberg FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Connemann came free, but Alfons Rödling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Lederberg FSV defense, Innozenz Blindow kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfons Rödling. The Lederberg FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfons Rödling should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Rheindahlen's goalkeeper Renke Stahl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alfons Rödling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Innozenz Blindow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfons Rödling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Connemann in the 78th minute of the match. Innozenz Blindow struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Alfons Rödling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Rheindahlen. Bartolo Schirmer kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Innozenz Blindow managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Rheindahlen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Innozenz Blindow was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfons Rödling came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Rheindahlen's Felix Connemann. But to his dismay, Felix Connemann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When the referee ended the match the SC Rheindahlen players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
