Wofgang Beer charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wofgang Beer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Austin Scholz went to the wrong direction when Jens Igler was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Markus Freytag had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horst Klöting. In the 36thth minute of the game Heiner Pattberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SV05Friedrichroda's Horst Klöting was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Kalb made a kick off. Wofgang Beer hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Markus Freytag blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horst Klöting having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Markus Freytag got free with Horst Klöting in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 60 played minutes SV05Friedrichroda got a freekick which was hit by Karl Fritzsch. Horst Klöting took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heiner Pattberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mark Meng hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Axel Kalb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Austin Scholz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Markus Freytag's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Horst Klöting firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jacob Kraft sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 1FC PÖLZER NR.1's Philipp Simm was substituted for Heiner Pattberg. Markus Freytag fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horst Klöting having to interfere. 1FC PÖLZER NR.1's Theobald Arndt was substituted for Adrian Rybohl. When Markus Freytag came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the 1FC PÖLZER NR.1 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Markus Freytag couldn't finish the play. Horst Klöting was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the SV05Friedrichroda defense, Markus Freytag kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horst Klöting. The SV05Friedrichroda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horst Klöting should have stopped the shot. 1FC PÖLZER NR.1's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
