Andreas Kaczmarek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnold Leupold in the 7th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes SSV SCHALKE KNAPPEN 04 got a freekick which was hit by Atze Gödtel. SSV SCHALKE KNAPPEN 04's Georg Schossow proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save SSV SCHALKE KNAPPEN 04 from getting a goal against them. Atze Gödtel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Andreas Kaczmarek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Georg Schossow successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Chiemseemoos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dino Mentrup in the 31st minute. Chiemseemoos's Dino Mentrup was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Georg Schossow in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Leopold Bednarski struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Andreas Kaczmarek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SSV SCHALKE KNAPPEN 04. Chiemseemoos's Andreas Kaczmarek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Suhrke in the 39th minute of play. Arnold Leupold's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andreas Kaczmarek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Georg Schossow made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Michael Borth sent off a good shot on target. Georg Schossow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luka Olbrich in the 48th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Arnold Leupold made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, SSV SCHALKE KNAPPEN 04 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopold Bednarski to maneuver through the defense. Carsten Gölz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Georg Schossow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andreas Kaczmarek came out of the goal and Herbert Suhrke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Borth in the 68th minute of play forced SSV SCHALKE KNAPPEN 04's goalkeeper Georg Schossow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Kaczmarek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnold Leupold in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carsten Gölz in the 81st minute of play forced SSV SCHALKE KNAPPEN 04's goalkeeper Georg Schossow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Chiemseemoos's goalkeeper Andreas Kaczmarek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnold Leupold. Herbert Suhrke came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Andreas Kaczmarek could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luka Olbrich in the 86th minute of play forced SSV SCHALKE KNAPPEN 04's goalkeeper Georg Schossow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chiemseemoos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Herbert Suhrke scored to the left of an out of position Andreas Kaczmarek, making the score, 1-1. Despite being the better team, SSV SCHALKE KNAPPEN 04 failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
