Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Mittelheubronn FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tibor Buchholtz came free, but Andreas Goethe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horst Modrzewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Oswald Schlepphorst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Caselwitz FSV getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Arno Graf hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Caselwitz FSV's Horatio Bohn got a free kick in the 9th minute. Horst Modrzewski struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Oswald Schlepphorst didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mittelheubronn FC. In the 11th minute, Horst Modrzewski made a precise shot to the right of Oswald Schlepphorst. Caselwitz FSV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Mittelheubronn FC's zone, Gunther Süßmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andreas Goethe came out of the goal and Gunther Süßmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raik Schewe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Andreas Goethe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andreas Goethe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raik Schewe's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute Raik Schewe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Goethe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes Mittelheubronn FC got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Uwe Alzen. 27 minutes into the match, Caselwitz FSV's Gunther Süßmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andreas Goethe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Raik Schewe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunther Süßmann who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Andreas Goethe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, Mittelheubronn FC's goalkeeper Andreas Goethe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gunther Süßmann. In the 35th minute Horst Modrzewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswald Schlepphorst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gunther Süßmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Goethe having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Raik Schewe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Andreas Goethe. Raik Schewe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1.

Kristof Scherer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oswald Schlepphorst having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Mittelheubronn FC's Ingolf Lederer got a free kick in the 61st minute. Gunther Süßmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Goethe having to interfere. Andreas Goethe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raik Schewe, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute, Mittelheubronn FC's Kristof Scherer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oswald Schlepphorst. Oswald Schlepphorst yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Andreas Goethe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raik Schewe in the 87th minute of play. If Kristof Scherer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mittelheubronn FC's zone, Gunther Süßmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andreas Goethe came out of the goal and Gunther Süßmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caselwitz FSV were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
