Oliver Josef Blechschmidt made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Reinhold Butzlaff sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute, Rolf Henninger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Living Legends fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 44th minute, Frank Rady hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Thiele's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oliver Josef Blechschmidt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Henninger in the 47th minute of play forced Bayern Utd's goalkeeper Philippe Wornowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Bayern Utd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Living Legends were winning 0-2.

When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Rolf Henninger took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Philippe Wornowski to make any attempt to save it. Brix Wunderlich came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Philippe Wornowski could save by the left post. In the 65th minute Rolf Henninger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philippe Wornowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Living Legends's goal looked a bit too open when Werner Stegmann came free, but Oliver Josef Blechschmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolf Henninger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Philippe Wornowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Bayern Utd defense, Rolf Henninger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Philippe Wornowski. The Bayern Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Philippe Wornowski should have stopped the shot. In the 84th minute of the match Richard Thiele shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oliver Josef Blechschmidt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Philippe Wornowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolf Henninger in the 86th minute of play. A collision led to Bayern Utd getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Christian Hofstee hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Brix Wunderlich notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Bayern Utd's Philippe Wornowski. Philippe Wornowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 94 minutes, Brix Wunderlich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Living Legends's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brix Wunderlich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
