Paulus Overesch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fred Haemer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulus Overesch having to interfere. Paulus Overesch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Haemer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Konrad Dietze's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulus Overesch was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Konrad Dietze in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulus Overesch saved Realjaro from getting behind. Karol Streich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoph Kampa in the 20th minute of play. If Berend Vollrath had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fred Haemer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Realjaro's Paulus Overesch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Haemer in the 36th minute of play. Christoph Kampa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Karol Streich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Realjaro's Paulus Overesch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Haemer in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fred Haemer made a kick off. If Fred Haemer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konrad Dietze in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paulus Overesch, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 69 minutes into the match, Realjaro's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Haemer came free, but Paulus Overesch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sielsdorf booed when Realjaro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berend Vollrath didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute of the match Pinkus Zylajew shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulus Overesch showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Haemer in the 79th minute of play forced Realjaro's goalkeeper Paulus Overesch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berend Vollrath struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Karol Streich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Realjaro. When Fred Haemer came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Sielsdorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fred Haemer couldn't finish the play. If Christoph Kampa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karol Streich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoph Kampa, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Realjaro's goalkeeper Paulus Overesch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
