Spectators: 6707 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Placido Pater got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Placido Pater shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Skodell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Placido Pater scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl Skodell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Tatern FC's Placido Pater in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cappenberg FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 9th match minute, Cappenberg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörn Warschkow to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the game, Sebastian Neudorf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cappenberg FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tatern FC the free kick. After 11 played minutes Cappenberg FC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Neudorf. The supporters of Tatern FC booed when Cappenberg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörn Warschkow didn't get a good kick on the ball. Markus Walhöfer struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Karl Skodell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tatern FC. After 14 played minutes Cappenberg FC got a freekick which was hit by Jörn Warschkow. Siegfried Stühler kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Markus Walhöfer notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cappenberg FC's Karl Skodell. Karl Skodell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 22nd minute, Placido Pater got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 31 minutes of play, Tatern FC's Markus Walhöfer made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl Skodell was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Tatern FC's Raiko Denniger got control of the ball when Jörn Warschkow tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raiko Denniger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egon Buchen in the 39th minute. Markus Walhöfer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Skodell having to interfere. Thorben Dingels blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl Skodell having to make a save. After having played for 44 minutes, Markus Walhöfer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tatern FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Markus Walhöfer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl Skodell came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Tatern FC's Placido Pater. But to his dismay, Placido Pater quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carl Nooke made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Tatern FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Günther Lachmann to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Cappenberg FC's zone, Markus Walhöfer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl Skodell came out of the goal and Markus Walhöfer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 58 minutes, Carl Nooke made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Tatern FC's Raiko Denniger tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tatern FC's Raiko Denniger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Nooke in the 62nd minute of play. If Markus Walhöfer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Markus Walhöfer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Skodell having to interfere. Siegfried Stühler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Karl Skodell made a huge save. Tatern FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Clemens Halke in the 71st minute. After taking down the ball on Tatern FC's corner Clemens Halke fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Karl Skodell quite easily take care of the ball. In the 74th match minute, Tatern FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siegfried Stühler to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th match minute, Tatern FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Pater to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes in the game, Markus Walhöfer fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Karl Skodell having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cappenberg FC's zone, Placido Pater stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl Skodell came out of the goal and Placido Pater tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Carl Nooke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl Skodell came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tatern FC's Markus Walhöfer. But to his dismay, Markus Walhöfer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Tatern FC's Raiko Denniger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Neudorf in the 98th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Tatern FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cappenberg FC.
