Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Placido Pater started the match with the kick off. If Yildiz Odemer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tatern FC's Raiko Denniger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yildiz Odemer in the 9th minute of play. Raiko Denniger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Brink in the 12th minute of play. Markus Walhöfer kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Tatern FC's Abdel Bernardi pulled a muscle in his leg after 17 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Thorben Dingels's late challenge caught a Elve FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thorben Dingels helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th match minute, Tatern FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thorben Dingels to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans Brink in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raiko Denniger saved Tatern FC from getting behind. In the 29th minute Markus Walhöfer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Bayerschmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Tatern FC booed when Elve FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helgi Thälmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Markus Walhöfer scored 1-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfons Bayerschmidt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Raiko Denniger made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Hans Brink sent off a good shot on target. Placido Pater kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. When Elve FSV's Hans Brink in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tatern FC's goalie prevented a goal. Markus Walhöfer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Alfons Bayerschmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Placido Pater came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Tatern FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Placido Pater couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hans Brink stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Tatern FC got a freekick which was hit by Thorben Dingels. Tatern FC's Raiko Denniger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yildiz Odemer in the 55th minute of play. In the 55th match minute, Tatern FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Pater to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans Brink in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raiko Denniger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Tatern FC defense, Wolfram Wiehn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raiko Denniger. The Tatern FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raiko Denniger should have stopped the shot. Elve FSV's attentive Luis Roßmüller managed to snatch the ball when Günther Lachmann made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. Wolfram Wiehn kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Elve FSV's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Siegfried Stühler fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Hans Brink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Raiko Denniger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 minutes, Günther Lachmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tatern FC and the Elve FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Tatern FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Günther Lachmann to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tatern FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Elve FSV.
